Three steps
Most people who use this are remote workers and retirees coming for three to eight months, often on their own. Rote has no ride-hailing app, no rental portal and no shop that delivers next day, so someone arriving alone usually spends the first weeks hunting for a driver, a room and a person who speaks both languages. The three steps below are how we take that load off your first month.
Tell us what you need
When you’re coming, how long you’re staying, what you want to do. The more detail, the better. You talk to one of us on WhatsApp, and nothing is bought online. Send your dates, your rent budget, who is coming with you and which visa you hold or plan to apply for, and we reply with what we can set up and what the fee covers.
We arrange everything
Transfers, rooms, gear, guides. We confirm every detail and send you a simple itinerary. It starts with arrival. Most people come through Kupang, so we time the connection, by the short flight to Ba’a or the ferry from Pantai Baru, and have a driver waiting for the road to Nemberala. You stay somewhere short-term while we walk you through monthly rentals that never appear online, and we keep your visa paperwork moving with an agent we trust.

Show up, settle in, and focus on the good stuff. We handle the rest. Once you are settled we introduce you to the people the island runs on, the reliable driver, the builder, the family renting a plot and the man who actually fixes generators.
Transparent pricing
We charge a flat service fee. No commissions, no hidden costs. Just honest help from people who live here. The fee covers our time, the arranging and the introductions. Rent, rooms, transport, scooter hire, visa agent fees and government fees are separate, and you pay them at cost directly to the person providing them. We quote the fee once we know what you need.
